So when choosing what outfits to wear in Costa Rica, think about wearing clothes that are very lightweight and don’t stick to your body easily.
In this post, I’ll share 11 Costa Rica outfit ideas that are perfect for the tropical climate there.
What To Wear In Costa Rica
1. Bucket Hat and Loose Shorts
This is my take on a cute explorer outfit. The combination of the bucket hat, the loose beige color shorts and long socks with sneakers looks very adventurous but also chic at the same time.
2. Top and Wide Pants
If you want to wear a super comfortable outfit but also look cute, try wearing a pair of loose white pants and a black spaghetti strap top. Accessorize with a big hair clip and a shoulder bag.
3. Top and Green Pants
If you’re a person who likes to add pops of color to your outfits but also likes to keep it minimal, try this outfit combination.
On the top, we’re wearing a simple white high-neck top and a pair of colorful pants. These green pants are great to wear to Costa Rica since they blend in well with the Costa Rica environment.

For our last outfit, we’re wearing a super simple top and white pants. The reason why I chose so many white pant outfits for this post is because the color white reflects light and will make you feel a little more cool than if you were to wear black.
