Thinking about what to wear to Bali? Bali is hot and humid all year round so all the outfits shown in this post can pretty much be worn anytime for the year. Makes it easy to plan what to wear!
Since Bali is a very tropical destination, I included tons of dresses, skirts, and thin flowy pieces in these outfits.
An important thing to note is if you plan to go into Bali temples, they do request your legs and upper arms to be covered. They do provide sarongs which is a strip of cloth you tie around your waist to cover your legs. To cover your upper arms, I recommend bringing a very thin cardigan to cover up.
What To Wear In Bali
1. White Floral Dress
Our first outfit for Bali is a white floral dress. This floral pattern matches perfectly with the tropical vibes of Bali and the white color makes it great for anyone who loves wearing neutral colors.

2. Long Black Dress With Cutouts
This next outfit is a bit more unique. We’re wearing a black dress with cutouts at the waist and one shoulder. I love the assymetrical look of this dress so much.
This might not be the best dress to wear into a Bali temple but it could be a great outfit for a casual day of exploring the streets of Bali.

3. White Spaghetti Strap Dress
You can never go wrong with an all-white or all-beige dress. This is a great dress for those who want to wear something with no pattern and something super simple.

4. Long Ruffle Dress
This next outfit is perfect for wearing to Bali temples since the shoulders and legs are covered. We’re wearing a long dress with short sleeves and a ruffle pattern. This light green color looks stunning too.

5. Top and Wrap Skirt
Bali is the perfect place to wear wrap skirts because you see them worn all the time at temples and even locals wear them often. You can easily pair up a wrap skirt with a simple top.

6. Long Yellow Dress
For this outfit, we’re wearing a bright yellow long dress that is very loose fitting. This is a great outfit to wear when you’re just lounging around your Bali villa or doing something very relaxed.

7. Black Dress with Belt
If you like to define your waist, try wearing a dress with a belt so it can cinch in at your waist. Pair it up with a pair of sandals!

8. White Pants and Top
So far, we’ve showed a lot of dresses and skirt outfits. But if also want to add in some pants outfits during your Bali trip, try wearing a pair of white pants and a unique top. Then, throw on a pair of comfortable sandals. Looks super relaxed and minimal.

9. Stripe Linen Shirt and White Pants
Here’s another pants outfit to wear to Bali! We’re wearing a pair of white pants and a stripe button up shirt. This outfit might be a bit hot to wear during most of the year in Bali but it’s perfect to wear to Bali temples since you’re already all covered up.

10. Top and Black Pants
If you want to wear something incredibly relaxed but also look dressed up, try wearing a pair of black loose thin joggers and a unique top. Pair it with some flip flops or sandals to make it casual.
