Topgolf does not have a dress code. Many country clubs do have a dress code, but Topgolf is a relatively casual space so you can basically wear whatever you want. Topgolf’s environment is also much more laid back and energetic compared to a country club or a traditional golf course.
Does Topgolf require collared shirts?
In professional golf, it’s required to wear collared shirts as part of your golf attire to main a sense of professionalism. However, it’s not in Topgolf’s dress code to require collared shirts or any specific golf clothes. You can definitely wear it if you’d like!
Do you have to wear sneakers to Topgolf?
Nope, no requirement for wearing a specific type of shoes. But I recommend wearing nice sneakers to Topgolf because you’ll be standing a lot of the time and wearing sneakers will be so much more comfortable. Playing golf in casual sneakers also allows you to do a better swing. No need to bring a pair of golf shoes, a pair of casual tennis shoes or closed-toe shoes will work.
They even also flip flops but uncomfortable shoes will be harder to play in. The most important thing is to not wear high heels.
Is it cold at Topgolf?

What do you wear to a Topgolf first date?
1. Blouse + Skirt
On a first date, you probably want to dress up a little bit even at a casual spot like Topgolf because you want to leave the best first impression possible. On the top, wear a nice blouse that you feel comfortable in.
On the bottom, wear a skirt to pair with the blouse. The skirt can be more of a tight or loose style depending on your preference. If you want to be more comfortable and move around more freely, you can wear a midi skirt instead of an above-the-knee skirt. Pair this outfit with a pair of sneakers.
2. Blouse + Jeans
If you’re not so much a skirt person, change it for jeans instead. This top golf date outfit with a blouse and jeans still looks so put together and great to wear for a first date.
Any kind of jeans works for this outfit. Maybe stay away from skinny jeans because moving around in them will probably feel quite uncomfortable. A looser pair of jeans will be the best choice.

3. White Crop Top + Jeans
If you’re more of the type of dress casually, then this is the perfect outfit for you. Wear a plain white crop top and it could be a looser one or tighter one, depending on your preference. Then, pair that with a pair of jeans of choice – baggy, straight-leg, bootcut, etc.
If it gets chilly, it’ll be a good idea to bring a light jacket like this one to layer on top of the outfit. In hot weather, you could swap out the crop top with a cami top for a great look.
4. Collared Shirt + Skirt

Finish this outfit with a pair of white sneakers. To make this outfit look even more like a pro golfer, you could wear a golf hat or visor but the sun likely won’t be in your eyes so it’s not necessary.
What to wear to Topgolf for a work event?
5. Blazer + Jeans
If you have a work event at Topgolf, it’s likely to be a casual event. So there’s no need to dress up too professionally because I’m sure that’s not what your company/team expects. To keep it casual but also semi-professional, wear a loose blazer and a pair of straight-leg jeans to dress it down. Inside, you can wear a white t-shirt to keep it simple.
Black or navy color blazers are too professional-looking so a good option would be to go for lighter colors like a beige, cream, light brown, or gray blazer. For the jeans, wear a black pair so it’s a tad bit more professional.

Pair the puffer jacket and sweater with a pair of wide-leg pants, yoga pants, or any kind of comfortable long pants. Those are great options because they match well with both the sweater and puffer jacket and are super comfortable to wear.
