I’ve been wearing the Jenni Kayne cashmere sweater for many months, and here’s my honest review!

Would I recommend it?
I bought the Cashmere Fishmerman Sweater in Oatmeal color from Jenni Kayne. It’s expensive, but the it looks so flattering and it’s so warm. It’s now become my go-to sweater to wear on colder days because it’s so easy to throw on. I love the ribbed texture – it just makes my outfit more interesting.
About Jenni Kayne
Jenni Kayne is a lifestyle brand that carries simple basics like sweaters and cardigans made with natural materials. They also have a beautiful line of furniture. The whole brand encapsulates California-inspired living.
Jenni Kayne Cashmere Sweater Review
First off, the texture of the sweater is the softest cashmere I’ve put my hands on. It’s also not too thick while being incredibly warm, so it’s the perfect piece to wear on colder days but also on slightly warmer days that can be chilly during some times in the day.
It fits snugly around the arms but fits semi-loosely around the body. I love wearing it tucked into a pair of jeans with a belt or with a pair of flowy pants.
The texture of the piece is also ribbed so it adds so it really does a good job at elevating a basic outfit.

The Cost
This sweater is not cheap. It costs $395 originally, but Jenni Kayne often has 15% or 20% discounts. Usually, they have 20% off during a spring sale and even 25% off during Black Friday. However, if you really want a high quality piece of cashmere and you expect to wear it a ton for years and years, it might be worth it.
Sustainability
Jenni Kayne doesn’t have much on the website about sustainability. However, they do use mostly natural materials in all of their clothing pieces which means that already is more sustainable than using synthetic fabrics. Natural materials are also biodegradable and is better for your skin.
Jasmine’s Final Thoughts
If you’re willing to splurge on just one piece of cashmere, I would buy it from Jenni Kayne. I also really love the color swatches that they have – all of the colors are neutral and are so beautiful.
If you can’t justify the price of it, good alternatives are Quince and Naadam. I haven’t tried Naadam before but I’ve tried Quince and it comes very close to Jenni Kayne in terms of the texture and fit. However, their neutral colors are not as nice as Jenni Kayne’s. For some reason, their colors just don’t feel as “warm” as Jenni Kayne’s.
That’s all for my Jenni Kayne review! What are your thoughts?
