This post shows you the best brunch outfit ideas.

Brunch outfits are hard to figure out. If you’re anything like me, you feel like you want to dress up but also don’t want to dress up too much. So what to wear to brunch then?
To help you through the figuring out what to wear fatigue, I put together 13 different outfits that look classy and put together, but also like you’re not trying too hard.
I’m also all about reusing pieces whenever possible so I purposely planned these outfits reusing different pieces again. This saves you money and also the headache of choosing what brunch outfits to pick out!
Brunch Outfit Ideas That You’ll Love
1. Straight-Leg Jeans And Button Down Shirt

This is always my go-to outfit when I have no idea what to wear to brunch or honestly, any casual occasion. Ditch your distressed jeans or skinny jeans and go for a straight-leg pair. This makes your look so much more chic and effortless.
Instead of a plain white tee, go for a white or blue button-down shirt instead. This simple switch elevates your look entirely and gives off a Parisian style.
For the shoes, throw on a pair of sneakers for a more casual brunch outfit idea or a pair of flats to dress up a little.

2. Straight-Leg Jeans And Denim Jacket

Denim on denim doesn’t always look good. But this dark rich blue color for both the jean jacket and pants surprisingly works well together.
The key to putting together a nice denim-on-denim outfit is to wear more oversized pieces. This looks like you’re not trying too hard to put together the outfit.
Since the denim stands out already, limit the jewelry and accessories you put on to focus the outfit more. Wear a pair of white shoes to match the look!
I love wearing this look if I’m going for a more relaxed look but also want to stay warm.

3. Long Skirt and Denim Jacket

Using the same denim jacket, you can put together another cute brunch outfit. Instead of jeans, put on a long skirt that is not too flowy. To keep it casual, put on a white T-shirt or white graphic tee.
We want to balance out the oversized denim jacket with the somewhat fitted skirt. I go for this look if I’m feeling a bit feminine but not all the way.
Look how cute a tote bag goes with this outfit too!

4. Classic Stripes, Crisp Whites

A striped long-sleeve top paired with white trousers is one of those brunch outfits that never fails. It feels clean, relaxed, and effortlessly put together without looking overstyled. This look works beautifully for city cafés, outdoor patios, and casual weekend plans. Finish it with sunglasses and simple gold jewelry for that timeless, French-inspired feel.
5. Cool Leather, Casual Denim

A leather jacket instantly gives brunch outfits a cool-girl edge. Styled with denim shorts, cozy socks, and loafers, this look feels laid-back but intentional. It’s perfect for casual brunch dates that turn into afternoon strolls. The mix of structured and relaxed pieces keeps the outfit balanced and modern.
6. Polished Neutral Blazer Look

A neutral blazer is a brunch staple when you want to look elevated without trying too hard. Paired with simple black trousers, it creates a clean and sophisticated silhouette. This outfit works especially well for slightly dressier brunch spots or city meetups. Add a structured handbag to keep the look sharp and refined.
7. Effortless Tee and Trousers

Nothing says effortless brunch style like a classic tee tucked into tailored trousers. It’s comfortable, chic, and incredibly easy to recreate with pieces you already own. Layering a sweater over the shoulders adds a relaxed, fashion-forward touch. This is the kind of outfit that feels just as good as it looks.
8. Cozy Knit, Elevated Denim

A cozy knit paired with dark denim is perfect for slower brunch mornings. This look feels warm, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish without being overly casual. Neutral tones keep it polished while still feeling relaxed. It’s ideal for cooler days when you want comfort without sacrificing style.
